Wedding Center at Stonewood Village

We booked this studio for our wedding and reception and 2 future sessions. We were promised 2 photographers and only the owner, Jim Hamberg showed up. Only 249 pictures were taken between the wedding and the reception. The quantity and quality of pictures wasn't anything like what I had seen on his website. I called and emailed several times regarding this and he wouldn't answer or respond. After 5 months we finally went to the studio unannounced and were given the cd of unedited pictures. We told Jim we were done dealing with him and wanted most of our money back for undelivered services. It is now 7 months after the wedding and we are still waiting. It looks like we will have to take him to court.

Trust me, you do not want to go near this photographer. If you want to see for yourself, he has an F from the Better Business Bureau...I should have looked at that before I booked him. He runs the most unprofessional business that I have ever seen. He does not answer emails or phone calls, even after leaving voicemail. You have to physically drive to the studio and hope that he is there so you can talk to him. I had an appointment with him on my day off from work to discuss options for a guestbook from our engagement photos and I drove to the studio to find out that he wasn't there. No phone call or anything saying that something came up. I was livid. At that point, I fired him...I had put up with far too much. He promised my security deposit back, which I have only gotten half, and I only got that much by going out to his studio more times that I can count. Speaking of engagement photos, that was the biggest joke ever. He spent MAYBE 15 minutes with us. He seemed very rushed and uninterested and when he FINALLY posted the pictures, he didn't even post all of them! Also, my friends used them for their wedding and he was there for the ceremony hungover and was not even there for the reception. He had some other amateur there for the reception! I could go on and on but I think you get the point. If for some crazy reason you decide to book him, do so at your own risk, and don't say that I didn't warn you!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PHOTOGRAPHER!! It has been over a year since our wedding and we have still not received our photo book. We have left hundreds of voicemails and e-mails. Once in awhile he will call back letting us know it'll be finished in a few days and to call him back then. When we call on the scheduled date, he does not pick up.
