Hands down the best place in Milkwaukee for a wedding. Everyone was great from start to finish.

Quite expensive, but COMPLETELY worth it. We moved our wedding from Madison to Milwaukee just because of this site. You cannot beat it in Wisconsin! The view from the terrace is amazing, Lake Michigan is in the background. The building itself is also wonderful. They have a beautiful bridal suite inside for the bride to dress in. The gardens below are perfect for photography. The main contact there, Judy, was always very responsive via email. They do have quite a few rules regarding events there, but it is understandable as it is a historical building. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning place for a wedding! It was so beautiful. We were able to get married on the patio after it had rained all morning and I was happy that Villa Terrace let us make the call for the ceremony. It is a very expensive venue but this location allowed us to have our dream wedding.
We had a few issues with the staff and our vendors not seeing "eye to eye" which made for a few akward moments throughout the day. One staff member confronted our photographer in front of my husband and I which we thought was unprofessional-no appologies were given despite this confrontation.
One a more positive note, the scenary is absolutely breath-taking and we received so many compliments about how classy and memorable our wedding was. Well worth the expensive pricetag! Our pictures turned out amazing and I'm sure that was because the venue was so beautiful! Overall we loved Villa Terrace!

Villa Terrace is so beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a truly romantic wedding. Just be aware that because it is a museum there are certain restrictions and limitations.

Overall we were happy with the Allis. It is a beautiful site, they let us take pictures throughout the mansion, and the staff was very helpful at our rehearsal. The Great Hall was set up well and the porch was great for pictures.
It is one of the more expensive venues in Milwaukee, and I wish we could have found a cheaper, non-denominational site. We paid the steep $900 rental fee and were surprised that it cost another $100 for the rehearsal and an additional $100 if we wanted to use the piano. After paying so much for the rental it was rough that we were rushed our 1/2 hour before our rental time ended. It's a pretty site, and a great option if you don't belong to a church, but it was hard for us to spend such a large portion of our budget on a room we barely used for 3 hours.
