We were so pleased with Paul and Karena. They took the time to learn some songs that had special meaning to the Bride and Groom and performed them flawlessly. Our guests were amazed at how beautiful all of the music was.

Paul and Kerena were absolutely fantastic. They were very open to our choice of songs and even suggested some that fit within the theme we were going for. They were responsive to emails and a pleasure to work with. Most of all, their performance was gorgeous. My guests were blown away and I was moved to tears. I would absolutely recommend The Moeller Cello and Guitar Duo to anyone getting married in the Chicagoland area. If I had it to do all over again, I would hire them to play both the ceremony and the cocktail hour!

They were awsome. I sent music from our church 3 weeks prior for the ceremony and it was beautiful. They needed no instructions. We showed up and they were there performing. They created the atmosphere.

Without question, one of the best decisions that I made in planning my wedding was selecting Paul & Kerena Moeller to perform at my ceremony. The combination of the classical guitar and cello was absolutely breathtaking. Their music added such a romantic and emotional element to our ceremony. We have received too many compliments about them to count. I could not be more grateful.

I was married on September 4th and they graciously agreed to play for my outdoor ceremony. Needless to say, I was absolutely blown away. I am so grateful for their flexibility and dealing with my horrible absent mindedness. I was so busy with everything that I forgot to make a playlist for my ceremony. Paul and Kerena were more than helpful and took care of the music choices for me that very day. I was not disappointed at all. I will definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a perfect addition to their wedding!! Thank you so very much!

We hired Paul and Kerena to perform our ceremony and cocktail hour music.Before the wedding the two were very responsive within 24 hours of emailing any questions we had. They both were helpful in picking out music selections that would coordinate with the type of wedding we were having: classic, formal, and a bit of a modern twist.They were phenomenal, I couldn’t believe that it was my own wedding I was hearing such astounding classical music. The classical music tied in with our venue at The Armour House. Everything was on point, they arrived prompt before the ceremony and played each musical request we selected at the correct given point during the ceremony. The unity portion of the ceremony was transitioned very well from start to finish. The sound system they used is clear and was excellent for our outdoor ceremony.I would advise if you can pay the extra have them continue to play during your cocktail hour. It is worth it. Our guests gave us many compliments in regards to Paul and Kerena.Just another happy bride!

Paul and Kerena performed at my wedding ceremony on 7/23/11 and they were absolutely wonderful! The combination of acoustic guitar and cello was simply beautiful. So many guests commented on how great their music was. I highly recommend them!

Just beautiful! We loved their more unique sound- still a strings sound, but not a traditional string quartet. They have a lot of songs available to hear on their website of them playing, and will also assist you in choosing which songs to play.Their music was just as beautiful in person on our wedding day, and we got great comments from our guests. I would definitely recommend Paul and Karena!! They play beautiful music, for sure!!

Paul & Kerena are phenomenal musicians and really great to work with. Their repertoire is extensive. I was trying to avoid the overdone ceremony standards, such as Pachelbel's Cannon and Wagner's "Bridal Chorus." Their seating music was a combo of jazz, pop, and showtunes (which I can't wait to watch the wedding video, I'm sad I missed it due to being in the 'green room'). They played Leonard Cohen and Beatles for our processionals, and took the time to learn "Do You Realize?" by the Flaming Lips for our recessional, at no additional cost.They are also very nice people. During some post-ceremony photos, they took the time to say how beautiful the ceremony was. They are amazing musicians at a great value, and play music for all tastes.

Paul and Kerena performed beautifully at our outdoor wedding ceremony. The cello and guitar combination was exactly what we were looking for...casual and romantic, but not overly so. We selected " I can't help falling in love," and "what a wonderful world," for our processional, and "here comes the sun" for the bridal entrance and recessional. Thanks to Paul and Kerena, everything flowed wonderfully. Here comes the sun still. Rings tears to my eyes. It's one of my favorite memories of that day!

Paul and Karena were absolutely wonderful! They played at our ceremony and then outside for our cocktail hour. They were so helpful in picking the music and flexible with the times. The most wonderful thing about them, however, was the incredibly beautiful music that they played. Walking down the aisle to them playing Ave Maria is something that I will never forget. The coupling of the guitar and cello was astounding. We had SO many guests complimenting them through and after the ceremony. I am so happy that they were able to play for us...their service really made our day such a dream come true!

We hired the Moeller Cello & Guitar Duo for our June 2011 wedding after hearing their samples on their website and falling in love with their sound. We only needed them for the ceremony, but I wished we had hired them for the cocktail hour as well because we got so many compliments on how beautiful the music was during the prelude and of course we didn't get to hear it! What we did get to here (the processional, lighting of the unity candle and recessional) was so beautiful and we were so happy that they were our choice. We communicated with them entirely through email and that was enough...they did exactly what we wanted and everything went perfectly. I would definitely reccomend the Duo for any special event, but especially for a wedding were you want that extra special touch to your ceremony or reception.

Our wedding coordinator recommended Paul and Kerena and I am so glad I took her advise. As soon as I heard the music on the website I knew that they would be perfect to play at our wedding. The guitar and cello together is beautiful! We had them play at the ceremony and the cocktail hour. They were wonderful!! I got many compliments on how beautiful they played and the wonderful music they selected. They were so easy to work with from the very start. Paul & Kerena performed for our ceremony and cocktail hour, they were incredible!!!!!!! Actually, that's an understatement! From the first time I heard their samples on their website I knew they had to be the ones that played the song when I walked down the aisle. The moments that their music creates is beautiful! I cannot express in words how thankful we were to have them give us that different kind of emotion truly needed on a wedding day. The cocktail hour was outstanding... everyone loved them and we couldn't have received anymore compliments about their performance. These compliments are coming from a family full of musicians! Paul and Karena are amazing. They were the perfect touch to our wedding ceremony. They were very flexible with song selections and working with me to get exactly what I envisioned. We were able to blend the Church music with more modern day music for the mass ceremony. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event. We received so many compliments about the music.
