Karie the florist is local owned and solo operated. Karie knows how to take care of the stressed bride. Her floral skills are art work. Everything turned out better than I expected. The center pieces, bouquets and boutaniers were just beautiful. The flowers were great quality and very affordable. Karie decorated the church and the hall for me and she set the scene for the wedding. I would go back to her again and refer her to everyone and anyone! Thanks Karie for making my wedding beautiful!

I could not be happier with how my flowers turned out for my wedding.. I'm an interior designer so the flowers and how the hall looked were extremely important to me, and I thought the flowers would be one of the most stressful aspects of my wedding.. After talking to Karie a few times I felt that she really had an understanding of exactly what I wanted.. I had a couple of appointments and felt so confident in Karie that I never had to worry about my flowers at all.. I knew that she would take care of everything and that they would be beautiful.. I received really great compliments from my bridesmaids and from a ton of my guests.. Everything was perfect!!

Kari made everything so easy and so much fun to do! She was always incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. She has such good taste with everything and took all the stress out of our day. Everyone that walked into our reception was stunned by how beautiful it all looked!

If you are looking for a florist for your wedding, I would highly recommend Karie @ Grapevine & Ivy. She is a breath of fresh air! Kari makes everything so easy and seamless without pressure and most importantly her flowers are absolutely gorgeous. Even if you think you know who you want to use for your florist, do your self a big favor and stop by and talk to Karie @ Grapevine and Ivy first. I took my daughter and her bridesmaids out for a fun day of wedding dress shopping and decided to stop at Schroeders Flowers to get some ideas for flowers as this was the only place I had thought about for wedding flowers. It was the most horrible experience, no one wanted to help us and when finally did, they just gave us some books to look at they never came back to ask us if we needed any help. Just left us there looking at a few old books. I was so upset I decided right then and there that if I could not find anyone with better service than this that I would do the flowers myself. After several phone calls to different florists, it was looking like I would be doing the flowers myself. I decided to make one last phone call to Grapevine and Ivy. This friendly voice on the other end said, "this is Karie, how can I help you." I explained to Karie that I had been searching for a florist for sometime and was running short on time. Karie was so friendly....I was just devasted when she told me she was already booked for the weekend of my daughters wedding. But before I even had a chance to panic she had already figured out away to fit us in. She helped us every step of the way, offering ideas and suggestions without pushing us into anything we did not want and she helped us to stay within the budget we set for flowers. The flowers turned out beautiful and Karie was a joy to work with. I am glad Schroeders Flowers did not have the time of day for us. I would have never discovered Grapevine and Ivy.Thank you again, Karie, for making the whole wedding flower experience fun and easy, and especially for the most beautiful flowers my daughter could have ever asked for.

I highly suggest you use Karie for your wedding! Our flowers and everything Karie did for us was absolutly perfect and beautiful! She went above and beyond for us and everyone keeps talking about how beautiful our wedding was and where we got our flowers!

Karie was wonderful! I love flowers, but I had no idea what I wanted going in, because I like everything! I did know I wanted flowers and lots of them! I gave Karie my budget and she worked within it. She also provided me with lots of different options. She gave me ideas about what would look good with my colors and the overall look I wanted. She was extremely helpful and was very understanding when I had changed my mind. I also had some last minute changes and she was very flexible. We received many comments on how beautiful our flowers were both at the ceremony and the reception. I would definatly recommend Karie to anyone that needs flowers. She was wonderful to work with and I would work with her again in a minute.

My bakery FORGOT to make my cake, two weeks before our wedding I found out the bridesmaid dresses were backordered until a month AFTER our wedding but our flowers were PERFECT! The flowers were absolutely a mirror image of what I had envisioned. Karie was so great to work with. She accommadated us changing our wedding date (even though it was a busy holiday weekend for her) and when the dresses were changed and I wanted to completely change the look of my flowers shortly before the wedding she didn't miss a beat. We even had her deliver a bouquet to my husband's grandmother a couple of weeks before the wedding and Grandma is still gushing about how beautiful the arrangement was. I am 100% confident that if you use Grapevine & Ivy for your wedding or any other floral need you will be beyond happy with the decision. We certainly were.

I recently got marriend and Grapevine and Ivy did my decorating and Flowers. Karie went above and beyond to make my wedding day perfect, she worked with my budget, gave me ideas, and was open to anything. I went to a couple other vendors and neither of them got back to me and Karie contacted 3 days later with a quote. She also did alot of things that other florist don't include in their service such as, putting out favors and setting up name cards. I literally brought her a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen! I would highly recommend using grapevine and ivy for any occasion especially a wedding. I had a wonderful experience and trust me you won't be disappointed!

I did several price checks with other florists when I began this adventure in January 2009. Most florists pretty much thought that I was crazy w/ the budget I had to work with. Grapevine and Ivy were the best price and were able to work with in our budget. Since I love all flowers, I wasn't set on anything in particular. I'm sure most brides walk in knowing exactly what they want. I described the colors that I was interested in for flowers along with some pics. Kari did an awesome job using her creativity on meeting both expectations AND budget. If Kari had any questions she didn't hesitate to call or email me ASAP. The whole fresh flower for our wedding was intimidating for me but Kari made it very simple and stressless. Everything turned out beautiful. We received numerous compliments from our guests. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

Wow!! I recently celebrated my 25th Wedding Anniversary/renewal. I booked Grapevine & Ivy because I know people that have gotten their flowers here and they were beautiful. When I got married I really didn't have a lot of say in what type of flowers I wanted and they were artificial. For our renewal I knew I wanted beautiful fresh flowers done sophisticated and Karie made my dreams come true. The flowers were all so gorgeous and they lasted that day and some actually lasted through the week. All of my guests commented on the flowers. Karie gave me exactly what I wanted and I felt so at ease with her and I'm really glad I listened to her advise; she truly made my special day a moment in my life I will never forget!!

Grapevine and Ivy did a fantastic job on our wedding. I had no idea what I wanted for my wedding flowers, and Karie really took the time to work with me and come up with an idea I loved. All of the flowers for my wedding were absolutely beautiful, and Karie did so many things that helped my special day run more smoothly than I had anticipated. She did an amazing job setting up all our table centerpieces and head table decorations as well. She was very prompt in returning phone calls and answering emails. Karie from Grapevine & Ivy was phenomenal. She eased a lot of wedding stress by taking care of all the "little" things. The flowers were beautiful, and she made my bouquet exactly how I wanted it. We did almost all of our consulting over the phone and through email because I was in Kentucky at the time. She did a great job balancing what my mom and I both wanted! I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

I worked with Karie at Grapevine and Ivy. She was amazing! She made me feel right at home in her shop. The conversations I had with her made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. Karie was so flexible and accommodating with what I wanted and was willing to do last minute additions for me. I felt like I wasn't just another customer to her. She really wanted to make my day amazing for me. The first day that we went into Grapevine and Ivy to inquire about their services she quoted us with a price. Dawn was absolutly instrumental in creating our dream wedding...It was like she had a picture of what we were think because she made our thoughts of flowers and decorations come to life.
