Double Platinum DJ Service

Super professional, fun & easy to work with. We made some changes at the last minute and they were eager to accommodate us. I recommend Double Platinum to all of the brides I come across!

We are not people to gush, but we can say without hyperbole that Bill from DP was the best wedding DJ we have ever experienced (maybe we're biased because it was our wedding, but read on!). 1) Planning process - We were planning the wedding from out of town, and Bill was very accommodating in terms of meeting with us and setting everything up. He has a very professional first meeting during which he provided us with SO much useful information, and worked with us on everything we wanted to do. Additionally, he provides a book that essentially lays out the steps of the wedding and for which parts music needs to be chosen - SO helpful. 2) Reception - Bill is a very professional DJ, and is very flexible in dealing with requests, toasts, special songs, etc. He was out with us when we were getting ready for the wedding party to enter, working with our reception manager to make sure everything went smoothly for the introductions. He played just about everything off our must plays and none of our do not plays, as far as we could tell. When we had requests for special times for things to be played and the like, he did that perfectly. Another note is the uplighting - he lit our venue PERFECTLY, which was so classy for dinner and cocktails, and so fun with flashing lights and changing colors for dancing. If you can get this, get it. He is very skilled as a DJ - he mixed songs well, read the dance floor in his song selections to keep people out there, and didn't do anything that "wedding DJs" get a bad reputation for (making annoying announcements, playing a song just as everyone is getting into dancing that totally kills the mood, or anything like that). He is also just a really nice guy. 3) Value/Service - Bill was very reasonably priced, especially compared to some of the other DJs we looked into. He was very upfront about services and pricing. In summary, Bill from Double Platinum was an incredibly professional, capable, and fun DJ who helped make our reception better than we could have imagined, at a reasonable price and with a lack of any "headaches" in the planning process. We would recommend Double Platinum to anyone else planning their reception without hesitation!

First, the owner, Bill Spindler, is phenomenal to work with. He is so upbeat and friendly. It was a joy emailing him. Our DJ for the evening, David, was absolutely wonderful. He had such a great spirit and really knew how to pump up the crowd. I actually felt badly for him because we had a relatively small wedding (about 40 people all told) and some of those people had flown in on a redeye the night before to make our wedding. Needless to say, there weren’t as many people on the dance floor as there should have been, given David’s skills. We absolutely loved him…he played the songs on our “play” list and was great with the other songs he played as well. He also had such a fun spirit. There was a particular line dance that I and my bridesmaids wanted to do but didn’t know how. David came out on the floor and busted a move with us…so much fun. We highly recommend these guys!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bill & Double Platinum. I was planning my MKE wedding from ATL and Bill was so responsive, so communicative and so helpful during the whole process. His suggestions made his expertise apparent. As a DJ... our dance floor filled up from the very first song and our guests were reluctant to leave as our reception ended. He totally got the vibe of our crowd and kept them dancing all.night.long. I also used Double Platinum's lighting services. What an unbelievable and amazing difference the lighting made. From setting the tone during dinner, to really adding a club vibe to our dancing, it was amazing. I cannot recommend this company enough. The compliments I received regarding music and lighting were immediate and are still coming over a week after our wedding. Thanks, Bill & Double Platinum... you made our night most memorable!

Bill did an amazing job at our wedding! He really knew how to read the crowd to keep the dance floor packed. From the first song to the last, there was never a dull moment. I would highly recommend double platinum to anyone looking to have a great party! Also, the uplighting was a wonderful enhancement to our intimate atmosphere. The night was beautiful!!

Double Platinum DJ was an awesome company to work with. They provided the entertainment for the night and kept everything running smoothly. They were very accommodating to the types of songs that we wanted to play. They kept the dance floor full and our guests happy!

Double Platinum kept our dance flloor packed for the entrie evening at our wedding. Our DJ, David was friendly, fun and professional. The owner, Bill did an amazing job with our monogram design and our room wall lighting.

Bill was such a joy to work with! I did quite a bit of research before selecting my DJ, and I wouldn't change my selection if I could! Bill is young, energetic, and professional. He has been in the businiess for year and years, and he knows how to keep guests on the dancefloor! He will let you be as involved in music selection as you want to be, and he is very open to bringing new ideas you might have to life! His wife's uplighting service is BEAUTIFUL and worth the money! It adds a lot of dimension and color to the reception space. I wish I had another event coming up in my life to hire a DJ because I want to work with Bill again so badly!!

Very easy to work with and he saved us from the awkward moment since we picked a weird song to dance with the parents :P also thanks to his songs selection as well, he helped us bring the crowd to the dance floor even though it's a very small wedding, thanks ;)

Double Platinum is a high class DJ service without all the cheesy extras most wedding DJ's have. They played up-to-date music that I requested and avoided everything I asked they do. The dance floor was packed the entire reception, and everyone had a great time. The DJ understood our music taste and played it, while at the same time, reading and pleasing the crowd with what they responded well to. My only change would be to space out the "formalities." We went from father daughter dance, to first dance, to bouquet toss, to garter, one after the other. I would have liked to space things out a bit more, and enjoy some dancing and party sooner and mix those things in later. Highly recommend double platinum.

We just got married a few weeks ago. Our reception was an absolute blast. We did not hear of one person who didn't have a good time. Much of that was a result of our DJ, Allen, from Double Platinum DJ. Allen did a great job with the timing of all of the announcements and made sure that all of our needs were met. Most importantly, he was able to keep people out on the dance floor! We had a mix of all ages and he played something for everyone. He was a master at reading the crowd. Bill is the owner of Double Platinum. Most of our pre-work was done directly with him. He is so professional, courteous and accommodating. We are so glad we looked outside of the Chicago area and were able to find Bill!

Bill, the owner, was great! We was almost as quiet as a spy, he was almost hidden, which is what we wanted. We was tucked away in a corner, but the dance floor was filled the entire night. We were a little worried, as most of our guests were from Milwaukee, and our wedding was in Grafton, about them leaving early. We closed the place well after 12. He was very accomidating and friendly. Just a plain cool guy!

We couldn't have asked for a more competent and professional DJ for our wedding reception. He was able to seamlessly transition from fast songs to slow songs by going with vibe of the crowd on the dance floor. This was by far the best value we received for the money we spent. I have been recommending this company to all of my friends who are engaged.

Bill did a fantastic job at our wedding. Music was a really big part of our wedding, and he was able to accommodate all our requests about which songs to play and which to avoid. He did a great job on the mic during the grand entrance and the garter/bouquet toss. He also provided the uplighting for our reception- and it was fantastic. It added just the perfect touch to the room. His set-up was so classy- no cheesy banner displaying his name or disco ball. Top notch!!

We were so pleased with Bill and the service he provided. He kept the party going the entire time, and managed to stay away from the cheesy tunes we wanted to avoid! I think the biggest compliment we would have for him is that we were using his projector for our slideshow, and also for a portion of the best man's speech, and his projector wasn't working when he set it up! He actually ran to Best Buy to purchase another one and had it set up before anyone even realized what was going on! It would have been so easy for him to just say "Sorry! The equipment failed!", but the fact that he ran out to buy a new one at the last minute speaks to his level of professionalism and quality of service. We received so many compliments on our music and what a great job he did! No mispronounced names or cheesy, stereotypical wedding dj-type punch lines :)

Our dj was everything that we wanted! We met with Bill before our wedding and went through the question book we had to fill out. He even helped me find the perfect song to walk down the aisle to as I didnt want anything traditional. The music was perfect all night. Requests were played immediately and if there was something we didnt like he would turn it off right away. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Very professional.
