Alan was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had heard good things about him, but we were absolutely blown away when we finally got the chance to see him in action at our wedding! He always came to us when it was time for a meeting, and was the easiest to work with. He had a great selection of songs, and a knowledge for music like none other. He kept everyone dancing all night long- even my father! My uplighting was supplied through a different company (my cousin's theater) and they blew out before the reception started. Alan amazingly replaced the lights at no extra charge. What an outstanding DJ. I would definitely recommend Alan to a friend, or company, in need of an amazing DJ.

What an amazing guy! Alan made our day even more amazing than I ever thought possible. He was so professional, organized, fun, and most of all, knew how to start a party AND keep it going! I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know who is getting married.

DJ Alan is AWESOME! He is the most professional DJ I have ever met and he knows what he is doing and he does it extremely well. Alan takes charge of the night and handles everything. He truly does keep everything in control and on time the entire night. He converses with the reception hall and caterers as well as the photographers so that everyone knows what is going on and when certain things will take place. On my wedding my wife and I had one job to do and that was to have a great time. Alan did all the work of keeping things on time and letting us know what was coming next like the cake cutting and first dance and bouquet toss etc. He took all the stress out of the actual reception and made it a perfect party. Once our dance started and people made their way to the dance floor they did not leave. We had a packed dance floor all the way to midnight and everybody wanted more! Alan plays music that EVERYONE will enjoy and listens to the requests of the crowd. DJ Alan is truly a quality entertainer and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ to handle all the coordination of the reception and create great energy and an awesome party!!!!

DJ Alan rocked it! We had two meetings with him before the wedding and plenty of email contact. He took care of coordinating with our venue and getting all of his speakers and equipment set up. We just had to show up.During the first part of dinner, Alan introduced himself to our guests and got the conversation going. When you hire a DJ, he's not just there for music, but he's the MC of the night and keeps the energy level up. Alan made everyone feel comfortable which means more people on the dance floor! His music selection fit us perfectly and we ended the night on a high note. I've already recommended him to multiple people. He will not let you down.

Alan was awesome! I was so happy that he met with us a few times before the wedding to get to know us and then to plan everything. He came up with a timeline to ensure everything we wanted would happen, yet my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing during the wedding - Alan took care of it all! He introduced himself to all of the guests, and I'm still hearing about how much they enjoyed him. He kept everything going strong all the way to the end!

Outstanding work! Alan took the time to get to know us and gave us a party that no one will forget.Very professional. Responds quickly to calls and emails.When guests arrived at the reception, Alan had everything set up and music playing. He went to every table greeting guests and taking song requests. When it was time for the wedding party to enter, Alan organized everything and did a fantastic job announcing everyone. He went out of his way to take care of the timeline for the speeches and dances. And most importantly, everyone was dancing all night long! What more can you ask for? Highest recommendation we can possibly give!

Hands down Accent Events was THE BEST part of our reception! Alan kept us on track with all the introductions and speeches and dances - I didn't have to worry about a thing! And he kept the party going all night! Our dance floor was packed the whole time - from my 5 year old cousin to my 80 year old grandparents. We got so many rave reviews about how amazing he was - I cannot imagine having a better night and he was a major part of it! I reccommend him to anyone I can!!

There aren't enough stars for the fantastic guy! Not only was he our DJ, but he was great at answering questions we had about other vendors and pointing us in the right direction. The party was rocking from start to finish and he was very much on his game. We even changed our first dance song the day before the wedding, and he was ready with it. I loved that later in the night he played our original song choice so we could dance to that one too (and it was a total surprise to us). At the end of the night, he got us in the middle of the dance floor with all our friends and family surrounding us as we all swayed to Piano Man....it's one of those moments from the day that will definitely stand out.You can't go wrong by hiring Alan. He'll make the process simple and easy and your guests will be begging for his number. Even the event staff at our wedding mentioned to our families how great a party we had, and it's in large part thanks to Alan!!

Alan Robb is a true professional. Not only did we feel 100% confident in all of Alan's planning, organization and creativity, he took on the responsibility of running the evening and keeping everything on schedule. He worked cooperatively with the other vendors to optimize everyone's time and skills. Beyond his professionalism, it is clear that Alan genuinely enjoys what he does. His enthusiasm was contagious and we and all our guests had an absolutely perfect evening!

Oh my!! We just got married last Saturday, the 28th of May. I found Alan on this website, and decided to meet with him due to the great reviews. Before him, I met with 2 other DJs. We liked the other DJs, but we felt that Alan would make our wedding a party -- so we booked him. We are THRILLED that we did! Alan was amazing! EVERYTHING he promised us in our pre-wedding meetings came true --- AND MORE! People were on the dance floor ALL night and everyone told us how great he was! Alan provided a great variety of music and kept the party going. He listed to requests and made sure to play songs that the Groom and I really like as well. It was great and he is a lot of fun!

Alan Robb of Accent Events DJ-ed our short reception. Alan provided all his own equipment and spun our reception himself. He took our overly-detailed song preferences and distilled it to the best selections. He combed through our do not play list and found music that somehow got on both the play and do not play lists. He did not charge any overtime rates.

Alan Robb from Accent Events was amazing.He was so easy to work with and our personalities clicked.He was open to any ideas we had and he truly got to know us before the wedding. The fact that he took the time to get to know us meant a lot. It made us comfortable and helped us relax during our big day.Since we were comfortable with him we were comfortable with him taking control during the reception and doing his thing.He didn't let us down. Our reception was rocking!The dance floor was packed all night long and the song selection was perfect.He seemed to know the "right" song to play to keep everybody going. At the end of the night we still had about 40 people dancing on the dance floor. We easily could have kept the party going for another hour at least. He successfully kept the party rocking. A number of guests told us he was one of the best, if not the best DJ they have ever experienced.We also liked that he wasn't all about the gimmicks and props. He was professional, fun, and played great music like DJ's are supposed to do!A++++++++++++++++

We met with several DJ's before picking Alan. We picked him because he made us feel the most comfortable after the first time we met with him. He was laid back and honest about everything he was going to do. He was able to give recommendations for different vendors we needed for our wedding. Everyone he recommended was a great starting point for choosing quaility vendors. Alan made the dance floor full from beginning to end.

Alan Robb is a stridently professional guy. We met 2 or three times prior to the wedding in a coffee shop and he immediately put myself and my fiancee at ease; we were able to easily talk with him about musical tastes, the general 'feel' for our wedding and where we thought the direction of the reception would probably end up. He came back with good suggestions and ideas, and we were expecting a pretty good show; he was clear about ordering of events, flexibility in timings, and what was going to happen. He probably knew how our wedding was going to work out better than we did, which was pretty reassuring; when you're trying to organise your big day, having some on-hand who can offer you clear advice backed up by years of experience is invaluable.The day rolls around; The meal over, the speech done, the dancing begins, and... powercut. The entire resort is on emergency lighting because someone ploughed a truck into a power pole. Alans rig is down; everyone is down. We're eating cake by romantic, but completely unplanned candle-light. The DJ across the hall from us in the other Ballroom? same problem.We had a quick, short chat about what was going on, and Alan circulated through the guests, talking, chatting and laughing and keeping everyone present in great spirits.Eventually the power came back up and Alan just rolled right along with it, There was never a moment of "what are we going to do now?"awkwardness. We danced, we laughed, everyone had great things to say about him after (and during!) the event.Great DJ, great range of music, great value for money; come on, a DJ that can entertain in a full blackout with no music and leave everyone feeling happy and welcome? Whats not to love about that. Don't make the mistake of an ipod wedding or going with some kid from a corporate chain with 2 decks and air between his ears; Alan Robb is a Gift to your wedding; and yourself! Book this man immediately!

It was great dealing with Accent Events for our wedding. Alan was very professional and patient with all the questions we had. It felt as if a friend was helping you pick out the music. Everyone at the wedding was constantly on the dance floor.
