A Place of Celebration

The DeKoven Center has welcomed many wedding guests to the stunning grounds located right on Lake Michigan. St. John’s Chapel has beautiful Belgian Stained glass windows and vaulted ceiling with unique English scissor Gothic trusses which provide a striking and historic atmosphere for weddings throughout the year. The pews are in choir form and can accommodate up to 150 people. A fine pipe organ is located in the choir loft at the west end of the chapel. There are wonderful acoustics, and the chapel is fully amplified. Outdoor weddings can also be accommodated in one of our beautiful gardens. The Great Hall is the perfect venue for your wedding reception. A truly unique space with three different levels and views directly to Lake Michigan. What to expect
- Great for wedding ceremonies with up to 150 guests
- Must have licensed pastor or minister
- Arrive 1 hour before the ceremony and stay 1.5 hours after the ceremony has begun.

The Great Hall

The Assembly Hall

$200 for first three hours, additonal hours are $70/hour
Great for small weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, cocktail and birthday parties
- Can bring in own food
- Includes Round Tables and Chairs
- Alcohol can be served not sold
- Only soft music allowed
- Up to 100 guests
