A Place of CelebrationThe DeKoven Center has welcomed many wedding guests to the stunning grounds located right on Lake Michigan. St. John’s Chapel has beautiful Belgian Stained glass windows and vaulted ceiling with unique English scissor Gothic trusses which provide a striking and historic atmosphere for weddings throughout the year. The pews are in choir form and can accommodate up to 150 people. A fine pipe organ is located in the choir loft at the west end of the chapel. There are wonderful acoustics, and the chapel is fully amplified. Outdoor weddings can also be accommodated in one of our beautiful gardens. The Great Hall is the perfect venue for your wedding reception. A truly unique space with three different levels and views directly to Lake Michigan. The Great Hall comfortably accommodates 200 people seated for dinner.
